Greetings all,

In this forum we will try to broaden our understanding of Jyotish as taught in the Vedas and in the great scriptures such as Bhagavad Gita, Srimad Bhagavatam and many other works (although not thought of as astrological texts, still mines of inestimable source material for this knowledge stream). We will stay as true as possible to the guidance of Parasara, Jaimini, Varaha Mihira, the Vriddhas or Old Wise Men, and the seers and rishis whose mantras inform the sutras and slokas of the traditions. Participants are invited to discuss how to spread and share this ability to understand the deep messages of Jyotish as to why and how the events we experience unfold as they do....... Philosophy, practical experiences and examples, techniques and pedagogical considerations all are invited.
