The Time Lord Procedures

Postby Joseph Ledzion on Sat Jun 25, 2011 12:46 am

Greetings, Fellow Astrologers,

You are invited to share various thought complexes on the topic of inquiry.

I am in the habit of using these Time Lords, which I have enumerated below, according to my subjective ranking and favoring of them in practice.

Quarters of the Minor Planetary Periods
Yearly Profections w/ Handing Overs
Zodiacal Releasing from the 7 Hermetic Lots
Ascensions and Minor Planetary Periods & their halves and thirds
10y 6m from the Solar or Lunar Progenitor (Egyptian)
Transits

This list was not formulated from taking account of any one single of these procedure's "innate predictive power." Independently each method provides a valid portion of insight into the tenors of experience activated upon the native as catalyst for the free will. The astrologer seeks to unearth those important times when there are congruent testimonies from say 5 or more of the procedures operating simultaneously. Predictions will become even stronger when the these so called unified testimonies between procedures are taking place at the time when it is the genethiaological Lunar Return and when the ruler is found in a Chariot, in particular the exaltation. If this happens while stationing or making a Phasis, the better. When all this happens in accordance to the year*, the accuracy of the predictions is limited only by the native's ability to use metaphor.

(* Valens stated that the year (the "quality" thereof) is determined through the annual profection and subsequent handing overs.)

Thank you, Mr. Schmidt, for handing us these keys which appear to have opened the very rusted door of the Ogdoad!

Good morning,

Once upon a time in the not too distant past Indian astrologers claimed that Western astrology had no time Lords systems comparable to the Dashas. Now reserchers have found so many in Hellenistic astrology that I am bollixed. Combined with the number of authors and lots involved, I am mentally set adrift once again in yet another sea of astrological Chaos.

Has anyone written a book methodically and logically explaining the various Hellenistic time Lord systems, their uses, and, most importantly, presenting valid research results on their astrological effectiveness and efficiency? How many and which of these tools belong in an Hellenistic astrologer's every-day toolbox?

Best regards,

Abd-Allah Meyers
