The Nodes and the Sabians

Greetings. This is a continuation of an idea that sprang from another thread in the 'Spiritual' sub-forum.
The question arose as to one of association... about to which signs the Nodes are associated with and by what capacity.
I did a little research and found an article, here at astrologyweekly, in the main page data reference.
Follow this idea and see if it doesn't make some sense.
The premise of the association by deduction is that since the North Node represents 'Gods' Will' and that the South Node represents the "Collective Karmic Past of Mankind', then where would the 'axis' of this influence ... or "Maximum Vibration Axis" by the authors term...would lie?
I believe I have more than a clue!
[what I'm trying to say is that the Nodes somehow 'vibe' with a 'dignification' [for want of a better term] to the 30th degree of both Cap. and Cancer...not necessarily 'exalted']

I would say that the author is correct in choosing Capricorn and Cancer as being 'associated' with the 'exaltations'...[In fact I think the Nodes are exalted in those Signs] as Cancer is the sign associated with the Moon and you would have to mate the 'Pole' of the nodes to the 'Pole' of those two signs[what the author identifies as "the maximum vibration axis"...a very good term.]...but the 30th degree of Capricorn represents 'Gods Will' by Sabian Symbology [see my thread on the birthchart of all creation...the Kabbalah backs this up] and the 30th degree of Cancer represents the past...just look at the Sabian symbology! [pref. Rudhyar]

I apologize for the title of this thread as that has caused a bit of a 'row' over at another forum...I hope this post from that forum will make clearer my intentions...thanks, David M.

...the point of this [ and this 'Thread' should have been 'Titled' differently, I'll admit], is that if the Nodes represent 'Collective Karmic Future' and 'Collective Karmic Past'...then there are only 2 degrees of the Zodiac that are in polarity that symbolize those principals.
Radu, in his article, stated that the N. Node [Collective Karmic Future] should be represented by a symbol of 'Gods Will' and mis-identifies the symbol for the 1st degree of Sag. as symbolizing 'Gods Will' as the image includes the "Pope'.
[this is the danger in utilizing the symbols without an adequate time to study them and learn them and there is no better study than Rudhyar in my opinion]...Rudhyar defined the 1st degree of Sag. as "Personalized Worship"...that's quite a bit diff. from "Gods' Will"
If Radu is correct in assuming that the degree of the N. Node should represent what is proposed...then it can only be the 30th of Cap., and the fact that the polarity of Cancer 30* represents "The Past" is the 'capper'...an educated and informed look at the symbols and their definitions for the polarity of Sag. 1* & Gemini 1* is evidence that this is the wrong axis.
What I'm saying is that possibly something has been overlooked or wrongly assigned over the eons of time that Astrological knowledge fell from understanding into the partially convoluted mess it is nowadays...I'm not saying there is any thing specifically wrong [maybe something has just been left out or overlooked] with the many theories attached to the Nodes but in my experience there is usually a 'Fly in the ointment' somewhere when things don't quite add up.
...and 'This' one doesn't quite add up.

...and I do get a bit knee jerk reactionary when people start shouting at me to "Get back in the 'Box', as I recognize no boundries in this study...I'm not 'bound' to any school of thought when it comes to Astrology...although, I must state, I'm pretty pleased and somewhat enamoured with what Rudhyar set down...set forth.
